Well they are not calling it server mergers yet…. but it’s pretty much the definition. Seriously Bioware? Why keep messing around with it. Just do it and be done with it.
Yeah, I hate it when they try and blow sunshine up my kilt like that. they can screw up really badly for me, but when they start that sort of thing I start edging my way towards the nearest exit.
The game still has a dedicated core playerbase but it is probably a far cry from the million+ regular players they were hoping for. I doubt they are very happy with the numbers they now have for a $200 million plus game.
Yeah, I find this silly too. This is a server transfer made more convoluted and labeled as “choice.” Too bad anyone that has the wits to read their posts can see right through the veil. I imagine someone in marketing decided the term “server transfer” bred bad PR. I wonder how they felt when that dev revealed that they’re talking F2P already.
