I’ve already talked about my impressions about this… But now it’s official.
I’ll leave to others the honor of dissecting all of it but here’s my gut reaction.
I won’t run home to desinstall WoW but I won’t be part of WoW 5.0 going onward. I know I’ve said never to say “I’ll never play WoW again” but for me this is jumping the shark. Just like a great series of book going sour after running on for too long. It feels like they’ve run out of ideas….
…sigh… December 20th can’t come fast enough

No surprises at all.
Token level cap raise.
Neutral stupid Race that will be on both factions.
New class that will probably be a melee healer. (And “Heroic” so starts at a higher level)
Talent tree re-design cause obviously the current trees are too complicated and difficult.
“PVE Scenarios” are probably lame solo dungeon content.
VERY sad. WoW is going to decline much faster now, and good riddance.
I think it makes sense. They’re worried about SWTOR and the strong film background the game can pull from so they decided to copy this (Blizzard is great at copying things from other games).
I only question why they picked Kung-fu Panda as the film series to base the game on going forward?
Monk? Could be neat.
More levels? Meh. I guess you should have a reason to see the new content.
Talent tree changes? OMFG STOP SCREWING AROUND WITH CLASSES ALREADY! (I sort of see them doing this in attempt to keep the game fresh and make it feel different but they’re really only been watering the game down further and further)
The rest invoke a more of a “meh” feeling in me.
I’m still not convinced this isn’t some sort of joke. If it isn’t, maybe they’re rocking the boat because another ship is pulling up along side and they want people to jump over to that one?

I’m not impressed either. More than likely to quit unless they announce something fucking amazing.
