It’s done now. After a long time not logging in I’ve finally decided to put an end to my Lotro subscription. The simple truth of the matter is that Moria got me in the end. I didn’t believe it until I’ve reached it but once you hit Moria the game really changes pace and becomes much more WoW-esque with its dailies, grinds, and all the stuff you find in WoW.
I’m already playing WoW, don’t need another game like it.
So while I may return once it goes free I don’t expect to return to Lotro anytime soon. Lotro, our love started strong but then you changed and I didn’t recognize you anymore. This is for the best I think.
You seem much happier in WoW but I think you are too old school like me

I was considering dropping my sub too, but someone told me that it was best if I just continued on with it until it goes F2P so I can automatically get the perks or whatever and don’t have to be worried. I sort of get what they’re saying, but I’m not sure if it actually works like that. in any case, it doesn’t matter since I’m on a three month sub plan and it won’t expire until early winter anyway.
